I was a little nervous when the package showed up, but then I saw the box was in really good shape and felt relieved. The packaging was clean and sturdy, and the skates were safe inside with no dents, damage, or mess. Happy with how it all arrived.

I ordered from riedellskates.com because, personally, I wanted skates that felt a little more me and not like the same pair everyone else has. Going through the custom options was fun, especially picking out the colors, wheels, plates, and all the little details.

It did take me a while to make up my mind, but that was more because I kept second-guessing what combo I liked best. The site itself was easy enough to use, and I liked being able to play around with the choices instead of just settling for a basic pair.
When they showed up, they looked pretty much exactly how I had pictured them. I’m really happy with how they turned out, and based on my experience, I’d definitely order from them again.

I had to swap for a different size and it was way easier than I expected. The return process was simple, the instructions were clear, and I didn’t have to jump through a bunch of hoops or send a bunch of emails or wait forever for updates. My new size showed up really quickly too, which was great because I’ve had other exchanges where you’re waiting for days, checking tracking, wondering if it got lost, all that annoying stuff. I’ve been using these for a bit now, and you can tell they weren’t just thrown together to look nice in photos. The stitching is clean, the leather feels tough, and everything lines up the way it should. I kind of assumed there might be some corners cut somewhere, like brands sometimes do when they’re trying to impress at first glance, but I haven’t really found that here. They did take a few wears to break in, but once they started molding to my feet, they felt totally worth it

I really wanted to love these skates because they felt good when I first got them. Like, they were comfortable for cruising around the park, going up and down the sidewalk, doing a few laps at the local rink, that kind of thing. But after a few months, the boot started creasing badly, especially around the toe area, and it made them look way more worn out than they should. Then one of the wheels started feeling loose even after I tightened it, which was annoying because I’m not doing anything intense like tricks, jumps, ramps, or skating every single day. I mostly use them on weekends for casual rides. For the price, I expected them to hold up better. They’re not terrible, but I’m definitely disappointed.

Customer service was really helpful and sorted it out quickly. The issue felt avoidable in the first place, but I appreciated how fast they got it fixed.

I’m brand new to skating, like literally decided to try it after watching people at the rink one weekend, and this site made the whole process way less confusing. The sizing info was actually useful, which I appreciated because I had no idea what I was doing. I was able to find beginner skates easily without clicking around forever or feeling lost. Overall, really happy with the experience.

I ordered some laces and toe stops, but the laces showed up in the wrong color and one of the toe stops was missing. Shipping itself was totally fine, which almost makes it more frustrating because I was ready to skate and of course this happened at the worst time. Now I’m stuck emailing back and forth to get it fixed, when it really should’ve been checked before it went out. Not a huge disaster, just annoying.
